The universe I imagine is set in the year 2043. In this universe, the Earth is faced with the consequences of global warming, leading to the melting of ice and the submergence of all continents underwater.

As a result of this global disaster, only a small number of the human population has managed to survive. Due to the absence of continents, human settlements have shifted to the seas.

However, shortly after the catastrophe, uprisings and wars among the people have destroyed a significant majority of the oceanic ghettos. In order to prevent such events from recurring, the remaining individuals have been forced to cut off communication among themselves and have sunk all means of transportation. In the glimpses we see, we witness the last human's dwelling (cell) in the universe.

It offers a beautiful landscape, the scent of the sea filling the air, and no visible air pollution on the horizon. Yet, the people of this universe failed to appreciate its worth, and the dwellings they created have become their cells.
They have become like tiny cells that protect nature from humanity, almost ironically.
