For each person, home is not just a physical building, but also a symbol of safety, comfort and belonging. Home is a place where we can relax, feel safe and be ourselves. In the home environment we can forget about external problems and regain our strength. It is our bubble from the outside world.
But at the same time, under certain circumstances, this protection is an illusion.
We are now faced with the problem that people, especially the elderly, do not want to leave their homes, even though they are on the front line or at risk of a certain disaster. They explain this by saying that they are on their own land and feel more cozy and comfortable there than anywhere else. It is their home.
By staying, they risk their own lives, immersing themselves in the illusion of security in their home.

In this work, I wanted to convey the fine line between the feeling of security when you are at home and the risk of being attached to a place.
