Home is the place where you can be yourself and feel comfortable. It's timeless and personal. It should be where each of us can relax, ground ourselves and be in the present moment. It is where we seek shelter and comfort from the outside world.
As an introvert, my house is my sacred space where I can recharge batteries from the outside world. Also, I'm Portuguese so (I guess the majority of Portuguese people) I don't really like the winter time, bad weather, rain, wind or snow. So, combining these two concepts, when I think of home I think of the coziest space, a warm bedroom, with a cold winter storm outside.
My goal is to convey a sensation of peace and calm inside "home", while the storm is happening outside our bubble of safety.
